Tennis at Sea Pines PlantationBoth Inland Harbour and Lighthouse Tennis Club have private tennis courts on site for owners and guests. There used to be sign up sheets for the courts, but it was found to be unnecessary.
Lighthouse Tennis has 4 hard surface courts. They are sometimes used by the Stan Smith/Sterns Tennis Academy for the training of high level juniors for hard court tournaments. (Most training takes place at Sea Pines Racquet Club .5 mile towards Harbour Town with clay courts.) The Academy does a beautiful job of maintaining the courts, and it is fun to watch such talented young players in training. 
Inland Harbour has 2 US Open blue courts. 
The Sea Pines Racquet Club is a 10 minute walk towards Harbourtown. The courts are all clay and the director is Stan Smith. There is wide selection of clinics, round robins and private lessons availible for adults and juniors. The weekly Tennis Exhibition and Happy Hour is great entertainment for free Mondays at 5:30 March through August. 843-363-4495 |
